The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry reviewed before the Gulf-Egypt Forum opportunities for investment cooperation, training and exchange of technological expertise. Dr. Salma bint Naseeb Al-Farsi, Chairperson of the Tourism Committee at the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Branch in South Sharqiya Governorate, presented a working paper in which she discussed the development of Gulf-Egyptian tourism investment relations, where she stressed that the tourism sector is of great interest in the Sultanate of Oman, as it is one of the reliable sectors in achieving economic diversification within the vision of (Oman 2040), and reviewed the tourism potential in the Sultanate of Oman, which worked to enrich the tourism product, which created many promising investment opportunities in the sector.
Dr. Ashraf Musharraf, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chair for Economic Studies at Sultan Qaboos University, presented a working paper in which he reviewed the role of the chair in providing economic research and studies and its role in providing knowledge support to private sector institutions, reviewing the prospects for cooperation in exchanging experiences, especially in the digital transformation sectors.
